Self-Management Safari
€ 350 ex. btw
You have heard plenty about self-management. Good stories, bad stories, books, podcasts, a conference or two. You can read a lot more about it, but this is your chance to actually see it and experience it.
On 18 November 2026 we take a small group inside two pioneering organisations: Viisi, the first financial organisation to go fully self-organised, and The School for Moral Ambition, founded by Rutger Bregman in 2024 to point talent at the world’s hardest problems. You go behind the scenes and ask the questions a keynote Q&A never allows. Lunch is with the team.
The Safari is in English, because we organise it together with Corporate Rebels, with participants from their worldwide community.

More information
Curious what the day looks like, who it is for and what you take home? Read on.
What will you experience?
You spend the day inside two organisations that run on self-management every day. At Viisi, you see how a mortgage advice company works without managers or bonuses, organised in self-managing circles where every “Viisionair” holds several small, autonomous roles shaped around their talent.
At The School for Moral Ambition, you see how a fast-rising non-profit applies self-managing structures to a movement that redirects talent toward fixing real-world problems.
At both places you meet the people who do the work, see how it actually looks on a normal day, and ask whatever you want to know. Lunch together, closing drinks and Dutch bites at the end.
What can you take home?
✔ A realistic picture of how self-management works in practice, including what is hard.
✔ Answers to your own questions, from people who live it every day.
✔ Ideas and examples you can bring back to your own team or organisation.
✔ New contacts among a group of organisations that are on the same journey.
✔ A first look at the organisation behind the Rebel Cell Summit, Corporate Rebels.
Who is this for?
We keep it informal and close to the work. You move through both organisations in a small group, with room for conversation instead of presentations. Participants come from several countries, so the day is in English.
It fits you if you:
✔ are interested in self-organisation and want to see how it works day to day;
✔ want to get inspired by two organisations that have been doing this for years;
✔ are already experimenting with self-management and want to compare notes;
✔ like meeting likeminded people who are on the same journey, from the Netherlands and from all over the world.
The group is a mix of Corporate Rebels Rebel Cell members and a few other organisations, so you will meet people at different stages.

Good to know
This Safari is an add-on to the Corporate Rebel Cell Summit 2026 in Amsterdam (19-20 November). You do not need a summit ticket to join the Safari.
Viisi
“Employees first, customers second, shareholders last.” Viisi was one of the early bucket list pioneers of Corporate Rebels, and is the first financial organisation in the world to implement 100% self-organisation. They run mortgage advice without managers or bonuses. Every Viisionair holds several small, autonomous roles within self-managing circles. Ten years in, they have a 4.9/5 customer rating to show for it.

The School for Moral Ambition
Founded in 2024 by Rutger Bregman to pull talent out of the “Bermuda Triangle” of consulting, finance and law, and point it at the world’s hardest problems instead. The movement itself runs on self-managing structures: Moral Ambition Circles, where small peer groups commit to a higher-impact career, and Fellowships that retrain professionals to work on climate, pandemics and inequality.

FAQ
Not sure yet, or still have a question? Here are the answers to the most common ones.
Why is the Safari in English?
This Safari is an add-on to the Corporate Rebels Cell Summit 2026 in Amsterdam (19-20 November). You do not need a summit ticket to join the Safari. Part of the group are Corporate Rebels Rebel Cell members from all over the world who travel to Amsterdam for the summit. That makes the day an extra chance to learn from Viisi and The School for Moral Ambition, and to get to know Corporate Rebels and their international community.
What is included in the fee?
€350 per person (excl. VAT) covers the full day (10.30-19.00): food and drinks, transport between the stops, closing drinks and bites, and a donation to Moral Fabric, the initiative of The School for Moral Ambition that brings self-management support to non-profits doing real-world change work.
Do I need a Rebel Cell membership or summit ticket?
No. A few spots are open to organisations that are seriously exploring self-management or already on the way. Unsure? Send a short email to [email protected]
Can I bring colleagues?
Yes, as long as there is room.
